Art Journaling

Every painting begins somewhere. For me, that place has been an art journal.

For more than 35 years, these journals have been companions—places to explore, question, play, grieve, celebrate, and discover. Within their pages I've learned to trust intuition, experiment without expectation, and cultivate a deeper relationship with myself and the creative process.

The collection below offers a glimpse into that lifelong practice. Here are a few pages from an ongoing conversation—one that continues to inform my artwork, my teaching, and the way I move through the world.
