Colombia invited me into a different way of seeing.

Living there for three months immersed me in a world alive with color, birdsong, lush landscapes, music, and the rhythms of everyday life. Speaking Spanish each day opened new conversations and deeper connections, allowing me to experience the generosity, warmth, and spirit of the people in a way that continues to live in me.

These paintings are less about documenting a place than about remembering a way of being. Colombia awakened my senses, deepened my connection to nature, and taught me to move with a different rhythm—to slow down, pay attention, and embrace the richness of the present moment.

This collection is a celebration of that gift: light, rhythm, life, and the joy of seeing the world with fresh eyes.
