Join me in the Spirit of Generosity Thanksgiving Day Yoga Practice. This is my second year collaborating with Manzanita House (MH), a local Spokane non-profit that serves immigrants and refugees who are assimilating into the Spokane community.

This practice is an opportunity to lean into your own generosity - to yourself for beginning your Thanksgiving Day with yoga and self-nourishment; and to others, people you don’t even know, by donating to an organization that empowers immigrants and refugees who are in need of support.

Last year we raised $1,600. We were aiming for $1,000. This year our goal is to raise $2,000+ to help people who we KNOW in our community who are being detained.

This Thanksgiving feels different. It is a time to participate in creating a world that we believe in and give from our core values.

Yoga is not just what we do on the yoga mat. Yoga is an embodiment of kindness, generosity.

Spirit of Generosity Thanksgiving Day Practice

Thursday, November 27th

Make sure to register by midnight on Nov 26th!
The practice will consist of yin yoga with reflective questions during the yin practice. We will move into a slow strength building practice oriented towards mindfulness and deep listening to one’s body. We will close with a short meditation. And there will be poetry for the soul as well as a short time to write some intentions - in a journal or on a piece of paper.
