Becoming Light

This series was created after my dog, Zara, died in 2024. She was 15 ½ when she died, and she had been my playmate and partner through life. Together we weathered the ups and downs of COVID, divorce, moving, and she got me out to smell the roses, walk by the river and play in the woods. She was my adventure girl, and she is still with me. When her body finally gave out and she lay her head down to say, “No more,” it was time. This series is about how we all become light in death.

Each print is part of a limited edition, printed with archival ink on cold pressed water color paper or on canvas. Larger sizes are available.
