COVID Series 2021-2022

During COVID, I was feeling the sense of constraint, the feeling of being contained, not being able to move about freely, and the impingement on my freedom. It felt tight, frustrating and a bit dangerous. These paintings are an attempt to express these feelings.They are also an attempt to find movement within the constraint, which in some ways is alesson for life. We all have confining situations, and the question to answer is“How can I work within my own life constraints and find movement, easy and joy?

Each print is part of a limited edition, printed with archival ink on cold pressed water color paper or on canvas. Larger sizes are available.
